Ministering In Romania

Ministering In Romania

Ministering in Timisoara.

Timisoara, October 2006

We got into Istvan utility car once again and made our way back to Hungary. We made a stop in Debrecen and continue all the way to Timisoara in Romania. For me is a little bit funny that in six hours we have gone through three countries; back home in Canada, that time won’t be enough to take me out of the province of Ontario if I decide to go west.
This time it was a little bit harder for us to find out where the Crusade was taking place, and once we knew the place it was not easy to find it out, finally some speaking Hungarian person was able to give as clear instructions on how to get there.
When we arrived, the service was just starting; there were about 15.000 people and expectancy and faith was tangible in the atmosphere. Most of the announcements were made in Romanian and Hungarian; I learned that a good number of Hungarians live in the area and that several Buses came from Hungary loaded with believers.
Rainhard Bonke came up to the platform to start ministering, he shared about the success of his last crusade in Africa, and for the delight of the crowd he informed that he has a special place in his heart for Romania, as his wife was a Romanian born lady.He preached on the sacrificial death of Jesus and on the power of His blood. He stressed out that when He resurrected, the powers of the enemy were defeated once and for all, and that now we believers are able to leave a victorious life, and that sicknesses, curses and afflictions have no power over us.He made an altar call and about 400 people responded to the call. He guided them into the sinners prayer, after that, he made a prayer of deliverance over them, ordering the powers of the enemy to loose the new Born again Christians.
A new period of worship time came by followed by the prayer for the sick. He called some words of knowledge and broke the power of sickness and diseases over people. He released them the presents to pray for the people around that had their hands lifted up showing that they needed some kind of healing in their bodies. My friends and I were able to minister to those who speak Hungarian; I was able to pray for a lady who had pain in her back and the man that appears on the picture with us.There were some miracles been reported and healings that magnified the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Here in the Stadium I was introduced to Pastor Racz Dezoo and Pastor Nagy Jeno both from Hungary, the following week I would be preaching in their churches. After the service we went to the Hotel and went out for dinner. It took us about an hour to find a Hungarian restaurant, as my friends were already missing some food with home taste.
After dinner we met some young people that were having a worship meeting on a Plaza. We join them for a while, I was able to speak and pray for some of them that spoke English. Finally we met in the Hotel, prayed for each other and finalized details for my ministry for the rest of the week and the coming one.
I did not have too much chance to look to the city, but what I saw I like it. There are some orthodox churches that called my attention and the old buildings that have been kept and restored looked great. I really would like to come again to Romania and minister to people, but at the moment I do not have connections, so I’ll wait on the Lord to open doors for me.
